Complete a two-week RIDE approved training program through Northern Rhode Island Collaborative and become fully prepared to enter Providence Public Schools as a certified Teacher Assistant (TA).
You will learn TA requirements, local policies and procedures, skills related to differentiated instruction strategies and disability awareness, behavioral management and educational intervention tools, health, safety and emergency procedures.
